My pup was very shy at first and quite nervous around other dogs. After attending Babydog's Puppy Socializations he came out of his shell and had so much fun playing with the other dogs. They also taught me skills of what to look for in safe puppy play :) Can't recommend enough :)

We've been taking out puppy to BabyDog's socialization classes. Both the puppy and I learned a lot! We found Ruth to be very knowledgeable and helpful - enough so that we ended up registering for a private training session and an obedience class through BabyDog, both also taught by Ruth. Our puppy has learned a ton and so have we. Throughout the entire process Ruth has been wonderful, and we can't recommend her and BabyDog enough!

It only took one lesson to see improvement in my dog. She has completely turned around in 4 lessons, and now we have the tools to keep growing on our own. The other dog owners in our neighborhood are constantly complimenting Beans on how far she’s come!

Ruth and Aviva of BabyDog are a fantastic resource for new puppy owners. We took our timid puppy Jazz to their shy dog socialization sessions at Bosleys and after a few weeks she graduated (with flying colours) to the regular sessions. We partipated in the Sunday pack walks and enjoyed both the human social aspect and the improvement in Jazz’s social behaviour. We also had 2 private lessons with Aviva to deal with a couple of problem behaviours (leash pulling and barking), with great success! I highly recommend them.

I have brought two pups to the socialization classes with Baby Dog. They are awesome! Very knowledgeable and professional, always managing what’s going on with the dogs and genuinely seem to love what they do!

Had a great time training our puppy with BabyDog. We have seen fantastic results and the training truly got my partner and I on the same page. We will continue using BabyDog and have booked private sessions to further her training.

We did private lessons with Danika for our new puppy and could not be happy with the experience. She was knowledgable, thorough, and you can clearly see how passionate she is about her job and dogs. Would recommend to anyone with a new puppy or looking to improve their relationship with their dog. Decibels going to come back for intermediate lessons in the spring!

We went to Babydog's socialization classes from 8 weeks till about 6 or 7 months and it was amazing! Madeline learned to be around every kind of dog and a lot of different people also. If you have a young dog that you want to learn the ways of the world in a safe and fun environment, I cant imagine a better experience than we had at Babydog!!!

We have thoroughly enjoyed both the puppy socialization classes and the obedience classes. The trainers are excellent with dogs AND people - always on time, professional, and knowledgeable.

My poodle puppy was frightened of everything and becoming reactive. I was desperate for help. We tried classes with no results. Avila suggested the Sunday pack walks as a non-threatening way to socialize him. She always took the time to let everyone know that we needed our space and every week Vincent got more comfortable. 6 months later, Vince is walking comfortably in the middle of the pack, he’s confident and happy. He is maturing into a very cool dude, and I can take him anywhere. Thank you Babydog for helping us.

We are so glad we ended up doing formal dog training, and Danika was superb in giving us all the tools we needed to succeed with our pup. 90% of dog training is training the owners, and she was incredibly patient with all of us as well as our kids. Truly would not have our dog at the level he is right now without her. Especially love the focus on positive reinforcement and patience, which other places may not emphasize as clearly. Thanks for all your help Danika, we look forward to intermediate!

No one else does puppy socialization like Baby Dog. What does this mean? It means more staff on hand to curate the socializations, astute groupings of the dogs according to temperament (e.g. shy, boisterous), and ongoing commentary from staff describing dog behaviour in action (!). This last point is especially helpful to listen to, as you will begin to recognize the many signals/cues your puppies demonstrate for fear, aggression, modes of play, etc. Can't recommend Baby Dog highly enough. When we invite another puppy into our lives, we will return to Baby Dog. Note: to this day, when our dog sees Ruth and Aviva, she is so excited. They are some of her 'top' humans, as far as those she considers her 'pack'.

Our dog was a handful before we met Danika Postle. Very aggressive and fearful of other dogs and people. We now have a new dog!! Danika is a wonder. Highly recommend. Very patient. The main training is the owners.

We attended Puppy Training with our 5 month old Shih Tzu/Maltess puppy, Drake Danika was our trainer & we are absolutely thrilled with the training she provided for us & our puppy. It was a delight working with Danika and we look forward to future training sessions with her once our puppy has mastered what we learned in 'Puppy School'. BabyDog was recommended to me by a friend and now I am in a position to recommend them to my friends and family. I contacted BabyDog for private sessions to help me improve my puppy’s impulse control. My Jack Russell Terrier had a terrible habit of picking things up and eating them - everything. Even dangerous things. I was at the point where I felt I could not keep him safe and I was considering rehoming him. The Baby Dog trainer and I worked slowly and methodically building a strong foundation of impulse control commands such as no, leave it, drop it, sit/stay, and place. We added one or two new skills every week. As my pup improved we worked on walking skills and recall. Everything finally came together and now my pup lives safely and happily, as a member of our family, and loves training every day. I am so pleased with my investment in my dog and my partnership with BabyDog. Their training methodology is science-based, gentle, kind, and it has proven itself effective for my dog. I found the trainer to be knowledgeable, skilled, patient, and kind. She was an excellent communicator for both handler and puppy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her, gaining confidence in my ability to teach my pup and his capacity to learn. My dog and I are now a team, training every day, and continuing to solidify the skills we have learned. I am a BabyDog customer for life.
