Private Training
Private training is a fantastic choice for anyone. Whether you have a new family member you want to set up for success, are working through reactivity or anything in between- we have a private training option perfect for you. Our trainers have an individualistic approach that works with different type of people and their dogs’ needs.
Foundation Package- Level 1 and 2
Price - $500
This personalized training package includes four 45-minute sessions. We will connect you to a trainer who matches your goals and individual needs.
Level 1:
For puppies or dogs with little to no training on the basics such as loose leash walking, impulse control, and recall. This is the perfect starting point to ensure success.
Common training topics level 1:
- Sit, Stay, Down, Look
- Puppy preparation
- Puppy developmental stages
- Managing puppy biting, nipping and jumping
- Recall
- Loose leash walking
- Drop it/Leave it
Level 2:
Take your basics to the next level by working on intermediate level concepts such as long distance recall, settling when asked, and leash walking when distracted.
Common training topics level 2:
- Focus and patience training
- Long distance sit/down stays
- Automatic sit when heeling
- Dog psychology
- Therapy Animal Certification
Who is it for?
Anyone who prefers 1-on-1 training or who has specific goals they would like to work on. Our private training is available for brand-new puppies and dogs of all ages.
Where do we train?
We train in Greater Victoria and the surrounding areas. Our trainers work out of several local parks or are able to travel to your home for an additional fee.
Important Information
- Four – 45 minute sessions with a trainer.
- Sessions are held once per week for four weeks at a local park. Alternate schedule options are available.
- We are available to travel to you, subject to a travel fee.
- Foundation package is not suitable for dogs struggling with more complicated behaviours.
- Advanced obedience sessions available on request
Behavior Modification
Price - $550-$600
These sessions are designed to address your dog’s disruptive behaviors such as over excitement around other dogs or people. fear responses and cases of dog reactivity/aggressions.
Please note:
** This program is not suitable for puppies who are nipping, biting and jumping. **
We encourage you to start with our basic obedience program via private or group classes to help set you and your puppy up for success.
Who is it for?
This program is for dogs experiencing reactivity, fear, anxiety, aggression, frustration-reactivity and hyperactivity.
